It's Wednesday . . . my favorite day of the week. It's #WineryWednesday!
Today, we are going to take a little trip to South River Winery in Harpersfield, Ohio.
The winery began life in 1892 as a Methodist Church in small town in Shalersville, Ohio. The church was dismantled and relocated and transformed into South River Winery. When you walk up the steps into the church ( I mean winery) you will notice the beautiful original flooring, church pews, doors and stained glass windows.
Once you find your perfect wine, take your tasting flight, glass or bottle out on the stunning deck to enjoy the view of the vineyards. South River Winery is one of the few wineries in the area that encourages you to bring a picnic lunch or appetizers to enjoy on their beautiful grounds.
If you looking for the perfect location to enjoy the sunset - this is one of the best places in the area for gorgeous views of the sunset.
